A new sensory theatre piece created for neurodivergent audiences and special education classrooms in Fall 2025! Created by the same director as RONNIE AND SCALES.

ABOUT THE SHOW:
Filled with music, fun, and group play, this production will be an immersive, multi sensory experience. Guided by a cast of actors and para-players, students will explore space with their new friend, June! This piece is appropriate for individuals of all ages and abilities.
TOUR DATES:
Fridays between 9am-3pm on Oct 31, Nov 7, Nov 14, Nov 21, Dec 12.
**NOT BOOKING IN-SCHOOL PERFORMANCES ON DEC. 5TH**
SPACING:
Typically in band/choir rooms, multipurpose rooms, or special education
classrooms. Dimensions for the size of space needed is 26’ x 15’ or larger. The students will sit in a semicircle around the “stage” space. Students/participants will be invited into the “stage” space throughout the adventure.
AUDIENCE CAPACITY:
25 students maximum (in addition to their teachers, paraprofessionals, and other support staff.)
RUN TIME: Approx. 45 Minutes
COST: $175 for one performance, $300 for two (same day, same school).

The Girl Who
Swallowed a Cactus

Winner of the 2022 American Alliance for Theatre & Education's Distinguished Play Award, The Girl Who Swallowed a Cactus is a magical storytelling adventure.
Eight-year-old Sheila & her friends feel like they’re melting under New Mexico’s summer sun and are so bored! To beat the heat and have something to do, the pals decide to create a fabulous fort made of the junk around them. The end result gets the attention of a very special coyote - one who walks, talks, and transports Sheila and her friends deep within the desert. The five friends embark on the adventure of a lifetime, learning about the impact humans have on the environment and becoming inspired to help all those who live within the beautiful desert landscape.

A Midsummer Night's Dream

Join us for this 60-Minute, full energy performance of Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream.
On Midsummer’s Night, the real and fairy worlds collide. Four young lovers, faced with the prospect of unhappy marriage or worse, flee the court of Athens and stumble into an enchanted forest. Nearby, a group of amateur actors rehearse a play to celebrate an upcoming royal wedding. As these mere mortals cross paths with a warring fairy King and Queen, chaos reigns in the natural world. The lines between reality and illusion start to blur and no-one but mischievous Puck knows what is true and what is magic. Let Shakespeare’s captivating comedy transport you to the most magical of midsummer nights.

Performed in the round, with a cast of twelve, this cutting of Midsummer is true to Shakespeare's text with contemporary costume design.

Synopsis:
Ronnie is inviting you over to their house to go swimming with Scales, the family’s pet fish! But, upon arrival, we learn that the leaves are changing and it’s much too cold to swim. Join us as we pivot activities and use our imaginations to travel to unknown lands and meet new friends. This new work is an immersive, multi-sensory theatre adventure designed for small groups of neurodivergent individuals. This performance is appropriate for people of all ages and abilities.
